Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Enforcement
May 23, 2008 – 3:07 pmThe City of Columbia Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit will be conducting Checkpoints and Lidar Enforcement in various parts of the City during the Memorial Day weekend starting today, May 23 through Monday, May 27, 2008.
The Traffic Safety Unit will focus on all traffic violators, including those who drive without a license, under suspension, uninsured, under the influence, speeding and/or seatbelt violations.
The City of Columbia Police Department would like all citizens who have concerns or complaints about traffic safety to visit the Department’s Website to fill out a short form at www.columbiapd.com/traffic_complaint.htm.
